   This video conference was most meaningful for me. This is because I am thinking of having a profession on the medical field. My career choice I am striving for is going to UCONN for athletic training and graduate school at Quinnipiac for Physician’s Assistant. Giving information of other fields in the medical fields gave me a more diverse knowledge of all fields that Quinnipiac offers. Also knowing some websites for career explorations just in the medical field, gives me a chance to see what is I am “medical field material” or a specific field in the medical field.

   Today’s video conference was full of a great deal of information. I was impressed with how much work Ms. Christie does in her job. She brought in that great deal of work to the presentation today. Her powerpoint presentation was full of facts that would be incredibly useful to anyone interested in a health care career, and her information on websites such as http://www.bls.gov would be useful for anyone researching a potential job. However, I have become slightly tired of health-care related presentations, though, and I would like to see more variety in the types of presentations.

   During this video conference, I found some interest in it do to the fact that it was involved with Quinnipiac University as well as the fact that it was a physical therapy field. The project that i presented this year had somewhat of a physical therapy asspect because capsaicin is used to relax muscles and to help along with injuries. The presentor, though it is about the 4th or 5th nursing, physical therapy video we have seen, presented to the best of her ability. The facts that she presented were well organized and easily understood. Also, they helped me get an understanding of what I would need to do to be a physical therapist. The biggest issue that might comee up would be the one involving money which is why I asked what she knew about the financial aid. All in all, the presentation was good, having the only problem be that we are sick of seeing another nurse presentation.

   This video conference was interesting for some parts, and I learned about physical therapy, though ultimately, I do not want a career in health care, and the video conferences that deal with health care are becoming repetitive and bland. The first two nursing video conferences were interesting, the third started to lose my interest, and the fourth almost put me to sleep. I am sorry to say that i am no longer interested in nursing video converences and I am losing interest to the point of near sleeping during them.

   This video conference was not the most interesting one, but since i am interested in becoming a dentist or something in the medical fiel i found that it was quite informing. I will visit the websites that were recommened and “arm myself with information”. If i had to rate this video conference I would say it was my third favorite only to the Computer one and the mummy one. They really need to spice these things up so they are more interesting.

   The conference was pretty interesting in some parts. Though having another person from the medical type field made the presentation a little repetitve. Though she was not the best, she was better than some others. Again having a power point with alot of words was pretty boring, and it did seem that the powerpoint seemed too drag on for hours. I hope we have another presenter like the computer technologies guy, he was very interesting and his cheesy joke made us laugh.
